Budapest Scientologists Celebrate 10 Years on Váci Road

Nearly 500 Scientologists gathered in Budapest to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Church of Scientology headquarters on Váci Road.

Dedicated in July 2016, the six-storey religious centre has become an important meeting place for the Hungarian Scientology community. The anniversary included a religious service, live music, a photographic and video retrospective and plans for the next decade.

Since opening its doors, the Budapest church has also hosted community programmes ranging from drug prevention and human-rights education to humanitarian and interfaith initiatives. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by news european commission Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
